How does it work?
Invisalign is the virtually invisible way to straighten your teeth.
A series of clear aligners are custom-made for your teeth – and your teeth only – to move them little by little. Each aligner is worn for 1-2 weeks before being replaced by the next in the series, gradually moving towards the projected final position. Your Invisalign treatment time will be determined by your Invisalign Provider, based on your specific needs.
You can remove the aligners and put them back in again at any time – so you end up with the straight new smile that transforms your life. You will be asked to wear your aligners 20-22 hours a day removing them to eat and clean your teeth and aligners only. This way the effectiveness of the system will improve and will get closer to the results that you are looking for.
Invisalign with Dr Ana Rita Moio
Ana Rita qualified from the University of Lisbon with an Integrated Masters in Dentistry. She initially worked in Portugal, before moving to the UK, and going on to work in practices in Aberystwyth and Pangbourne. Ana Rita has a keen interest in Paediatric Dentistry and has a PgCert in Dental Sedation and Pain Management. With her calm nature, she always aims to provide dentistry in a relaxed environment.
As a certified Invisalign provider, Ana Rita is able to straighten crowded teeth in a discreet manner. As part of her continued progression in orthodontics, Ana Rita has gone on to complete her Postgraduate Diploma in Orthodontics with Smile Academy.
Further to this she has completed training in aesthetic composite restoratives with Monik Vasants Academy, allowing her to ensure she can achieve ideal aesthetic results for her patients
How do I get started with Invisalign?
Make an appointment with our Invisalign provider Dr Ana Rita Moio, who is also one of the principal dentists at the practice.
The initial consultation will determine if you are suitable for this system. Dr Ana Rita will do a thorough assessment and discuss more detailed information such as length of treatment and important information about the procedure.
